A Doula is a professional trained in childbirth who provides emotional, physical, educational and spiritual support to a birthing woman in pregnancy, birth and beyond. The doula’s purpose is to support the birth giver to have a safe, memorable and empowering birthing experience.

Important – I currently have limited availability for birth support due to it’s on call nature. Even if I am unable to assist at your birth, I may still be available for Pre and Post Natal Visits and would love to be able to support your family in this way.

A no obligation, free meeting with you and your partner is usually the first step in us all getting to know each other. In this meeting we can discuss what I can do for you, your priorities and concerns and how we might best work together.

A standard Birth Doula package usually consists of the below but I am flexible and happy to work with you to design a package that will meet your needs:

• 2 Pre-natal visits (Approx 1.5 – 2 hours each) to discuss your birth preferences, a debrief from any previous births, birth visualisations and working through any questions or fears you may have.
• Phone and email consultations during Late Pregnancy to check in and discuss any questions.
• On Call – I will be on call (24 hours) for the birth for 2 weeks before your due date and will support you through labour and the birth and remain with you for 1-2 hours or as needed after the birth until your family is ready for private time together.
• 1 Post-natal visit (Approx 1.5 – 2 hours) in the week after birth to review the birth together and provide any support, advice or referrals that might be required. Additional post-natal sessions can be offered at an additional cost.
• Post-natal only packages are available as well as IVF Support, and Mothers Blessings. Please contact me to discuss any of the above further and for pricing.
